Antigua & Barbuda: regional Symposium on Agricultural Risk management in the Caribbean

This event, organised in the frame of the activity "Capacity Transfer to the region" (1.CAR.E05), aims at knowledge sharing and transfer of capacity to public and private sector participants looking for technical information on how to design agriculture risk management strategies. The World Bank will also take the opportunity to present the work of technical assistance they have delivered to Grenada, Belize, Haiti, Guyana, and Jamaica, on ARM through the AAACP for the Caribbean.

The World Bank is closely coordinating the technical details with the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), which is serving as the technical coordinator for the event. Other institutions participating are CARDI, Caribbean Development bank (CDB), regional FAO, CDEMA, and IADB, among others.
